Kente will forever be one of my absolute favorite fabrics. The fabric has rich history and the amount of work and creativity that goes into weaving just a strip of this fabric makes me proud to call it one of Ghana's nationals treasures.

This blazer dress was made with two different patterns of Kente. My seamstress did an amazing job sewing this just as I explained. Sewing Kente is no small feat. The fabric is woven in strips. It is up to the seamstress to deconstruct these strips and match up the geometric pattern all while making sure it makes sense with the silhouette of the dress.

The large gold buttons give it an '80s feel. By far one of my absolute favorite pieces. So proud to be the owner of this piece!
