I designed this dress specifically for a wedding. I recently wore this dress to a wedding and it was perfect for that "I want to slay but people think it is rude to be overdressed at someone else's wedding so I need to slay - politely." Ahahah! Talk about a feeling maself moment. I got the idea for this dress while going through various Ralph and Russo Cannes red carpet and Christian Siriano Spring 2016 offerings.

The tailor who constructed the huge bow made it so that I could detach it. For my first time wearing this dress I decided to leave the bow on for maximum effect and it was perfect! I loved it!

I've been so slow with posts due to travelling and work and exams. Just too much going on! But the passion for blogging is still there. I think that's the hardest part about this blogging game. When there's so much going on in life I tend to push it aside - but I refuse to lose momentum.

I love designing clothes and dressing (for no reason other than my imaginary fabulous event heavy life - hah!) - That is why I love using this blog as an outlet.

I've been thinking a lot about this blog and I am happy just keeping it style centered.Whether it's me posting clothes I've designed or just posting pictures of myself - dressed up with no where to go.

If I were to start a life style blog it honestly would not be true to my passion about blogging. At this point if I did that it would only be because other popular bloggers are doing it too - I always need to remind myself to be ... myself. It's enough for me.

And of course to the voyeur out there if you want to take a peak at my designs or my style - you are more than welcome :)

As usual I designed this. It was made by a seamstress in Ghana.
