Fabulous! That is the first word that came out of my mouth when I first put on this sleeveless blazer. I purchased this pretty number from JVK, a clothing line based in Ghana.
So soon after I got this Voila (by Vlisco) print I found out my mom had the same print - except her seamstress made a dress with it. I decided to go the exact opposite way and design a power suit cape blazer - feminine with a touch of masculinity and bad ass-ness.
2015 was the year I just got up and did it because it made me happy. I have tried and failed to start a blog many times and in the year 2015 I just designed clothes, whipped out my iPhone and took pictures of myself.

2016 is almost here and right now all I'm thinking about is my New Years outfit. Last year, my New Years Eve outfit was a departure from the usual sparkly dress. This year, I spotted this beautiful fabric at the mall and got this dress custom made after seeing Zendaya rock a similar creation by Christian Siriano. My outfit arrived just in time for end of the year celebrations!
